Bartók Record Archives
János Sebestyén served as co-editor, assisted in the restoration process and contributed to the program notes for the Bartók Record Archives, volume two of a complete edition of Bartók's recordings. This set includes all surviving non-commericial recordings with Bartók performing and speaking. It was first released as Hungaroton LPX 12334-38 in 1981, then later as HCD 12334-37. János Sebestyén was awarded the Grand Prix du Disque (Académie Charles Cros) in 1982 for his contributions to this album.
